Our practice has been established in the heart of Little Chalfont for over ten years and has been designed to house a state-of-the-art surgery, delivering high-level private dentistry in a comfortable and friendly environment.

Our team is dedicated to making patients feel at ease during their visits. Our main focus is the use of minimally invasive techniques that preserve your tooth structure and work in harmony with nature, to give you a healthy and beautiful smile for life.

Exceptional Care

Our dentists offer a full range of preventative and restorative dentistry. We also have a dedicated dental hygienist and therapist available throughout the week including Saturdays.

We pride ourselves in taking the time necessary to explain fully any proposed treatment, any associated risks as well as alternative options so patients can make informed decisions about their dental care.

We firmly believe in using technology to its fullest, so use digital cameras, photographs and even computer simulations to explain any treatment and oral hygiene procedures that you may need.

You can even use our Ipad to watch your favourite TV show on-demand, or choose to listen to your favourite music whilst having your treatments!

We also provide dental sedation enabling anxious and nervous patients to undergo routine or specialist treatment. Dr Ladak has previously worked at the Sedation and Special Care Dentistry department at Guy’s Hospital teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Digital Dentistry

Using the latest state-of-the-art technology

Dr Munawwar Ladak firmly believes in using technology to benefit our patients. As well as using our digital cameras/x-rays during our dental assessments and treatments, we have now also invested in a digital scanner at the practice, to accurately facilitate our more advanced treatments.

Our iTero intraoral scanner uses laser and optical scanning for taking teeth impressions, without the wait and discomfort of conventional methods. The scanner makes it possible for dental impressions to be taken without the need to place any putty or paste inside your mouth. This state-of-the-art technology results in an extremely accurate 3D model of your teeth and gums, which you will be able to instantly see during your visit.

Dr Ladak and the team can use this cutting-edge digital impression system to predict the results of dental treatments such as Invisalign, dental implants, and dental crowns or bridges.

Advanced Restorative

Dr Munawwar Ladak has completed his Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (the restoration and replacement of teeth). He, therefore, has a special interest in advanced restorative dentistry.

Most recently, he completed, with Merit, his Masters in Clinical Dentistry - Prosthodontics (the restoration of teeth) at Kings College London, which is one of the highest levels of technical qualifications to be attained as a dentist in general practice. This comprehensive 4-year programme provides advanced clinical skills and knowledge for all aspects of restoration and preservation of the teeth and supporting tissues. He, therefore, has a special interest in aesthetic, restorative and implant dentistry.

Miss Selchia Selvendran

Selchia is a qualified Dental Hygienist & Therapist with an easy chair-side manner who anticipates her patients' needs and works with the team to deliver clinical excellence.

As a therapist, she is able to treat patients for routine hygiene appointments, gum disease and restorations.

Selchia qualified with a BSc in Dental Hygiene & Therapy from the University of Birmingham, followed by a year in foundation training in Dental Therapy through the Oxford Dental Foundation Scheme in order to widen her range of skills.

She believes in a holistic approach to dentistry and tailors her care and treatment to each individual patient. She encourages attention to preventative care and believes good oral health education is the key to maintaining a healthy and happy smile. Selchia particularly enjoys working with children and making anxious patients feel at ease. She prides herself on being gentle yet thorough and enjoys the relationships she develops with her patients.

Away from the dental practice, Selchia enjoys yoga, playing music and travelling.

Oral, Dental Implant Surgery & Dental Sedation. Dr. Shah graduated from Guys Dental Hospital in 1997, before becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Experience includes the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Royal London Hospital, Guys, Kings & St Thomas’s Hospital, Queens Hospital and treatment of complicated facial fractures, head & neck cancer surgeries. Preeti was in hospital practice until 2010. She now works independently of the NHS and accepts referrals for oral surgery, sedation and dental implants.

Dr Shah has been undertaking dental implant treatments with Dr Ladak since 2004.

Dr Shazia Kassam

Dr Shazia Kassam

Shazia gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Plymouth in 2018. Since graduating, she completed her Foundation Training in London before joining the team in 2019.

 

Since graduating, Shazia enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has developed a particular interest in restorative dentistry and is currently studying to gain a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. She is also a comprehensive provider of Invisalign orthodontic appliances.

 

Shazia understands that each patient is an individual with different needs and expectations. She takes time to listen to their needs and discuss the different treatment options available to them whilst delivering a high standard of dental care.

 

Outside of dentistry, Shazia enjoys playing badminton, baking and travelling.

Dr Farah Kanji qualified as a dentist from King’s College London and has undertaken further training with Derma Medical, Avanti Aesthetics Academy in Harley Street and Dr Bob Khanna to provide her with the knowledge and skills to carry out facial rejuvenation treatments. She is registered with the General Dental Council and is a member of the ACE group.
Dr Farah has a passion for skin care and takes a holistic approach with her patients, not just focusing on the area of their face that she is treating. She has a strong belief that the skin is the foundation and canvas to any cosmetic work and a good skincare routine is imperative to achieving great results and preventing the signs of ageing.
She aims to always produce natural-looking results and tailors her approach to enhance the existing features of each individual, rather than transforming them. She always carries out an in-depth consultation to understand the needs and expectations of each patient.
Dr Farah is a caring clinician and works well with nervous patients. Dr Nizarali is a consultant in Special Care Dentistry and has been a full-time member of staff at the Department of Sedation and Special Care Dentistry at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust since 2007.

She has a vast amount of experience in teaching and treating anxious/phobic patients under basic and advanced sedation techniques in both general practice and hospital settings. Her areas of interest and expertise are in treating patients with basic and advanced conscious sedation techniques, managing the dental care of patients with haematological disorders and challenging medical problems and disabilities.

Dr Nizarali is the course organiser for the undergraduate Sedation and Special Care Dentistry course and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate MSc students in Sedation and Special Care dentistry clinically. She also carries out research related to sedation and special care dentistry and supervises postgraduate students through their research projects.

Dr Nizarali is also on the teaching faculty for SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry) and has been lecturing for SAAD for 10 years. She also teaches postgraduate courses on both basic and advanced conscious sedation to dentists and dental care professionals.
