Cancellations and FTA Policy

Cancellations

We aim to provide all our patients with the best possible service and to achieve this we need your cooperation. If you are not able to attend your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can allocate the time to someone else. Otherwise, we may have to apply a late cancellation charge.

For appointments longer than 60 minutes we request that you give us as much notice as possible, preferably 48 hours.

Failure to Attend (FTA)

Non-attendance and cancellations at short notice without a valid reason deprive other patients of essential dental services. We will notify you twice by email if this situation occurs. Patients who receive 2 FTA notifications will then not be seen again.

New patients if they fail to attend will not be offered another appointment.

Hygienist missed appointments

It is our practice policy to take a £30 booking fee for Hygienist appointments that is redeemable against treatment costs.

Please be aware, that this booking fee will be retained where a patient fails to attend a booked appointment or when cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time.
